Another City in Trouble With Red Light Cameras

As an update to the post a few days ago, it seems the city of Fullerton is in trouble with their photo enforcement program as indicated in this article.

…in 2008 an appellate court ruled that the tickets were being given out unlawfully. Issuance of red light tickets immediately stopped.

The city is now desperately trying to have the case overturned post-judgment. Good luck with that one! Next time, maybe you’ll take your time and get quality legal counsel before rushing into revenue generating schemes.
