Sykesville Rejects Photo Radar

The streak continues, photo enforcement has yet to survive a public vote.

Yesterday, the town of Sykesville, MD voted in a referendum to reject speed cameras.  This makes Sykesville the 10th jurisdiction to reject photo enforcement by referendum.

Redflex, ATS, and officials continue to claim that automated ticketing enjoys wide public support, but the ballot results have never affirmed this assertion. Congratulations Sykesville!
